Indian Sandstone seems to be in fashion currently. It comes in subtly diifferent shades, but because it's a natural stone, there is a variation. This is part of it's appeal. There are a wide range of paving slabs available on the market. Whichever flags you choose will depend upon either the design, availability or budget considerations.

Pointing the stone is the key to a good installation.  I have several years experience now at doing this.  There are several new products on the market, but I think the tried and tested method of forcing & smoothing a semi-dry mix into the joints works best, and achieves a good finish.
